Description
1 Disciplinary proceedings were initiated against respondent, James Michael Flanery, by Complainant, the Oklahoma Bar Association, which in substance charged respondent with embezzling $71,000.00 over a three year period from relatives while working for them. By a 2-1 vote a Professional Responsibility Tribunal (PRT) found respondent guilty of misconduct and recommends disbarment. The third member of the PRT also found misconduct, but recommends a two year and one day suspension for the reason the misconduct occurred prior to respondents licensure as an attorney. We, likewise, find misconduct that warrants discipline. We disbar respondent.
